Militao will miss the rest of the 2024-25 campaign for Real Madrid after rupturing his ACL in their 4-0 win against Osasuna on Saturday. The Brazilian centre-back was stretchered off and it was later confirmed he will be sidelined for the next nine months. With the defender ruled out for the season, former Los Blancos star Guti had backed Ramos to return to Santiago Bernabeu as a free agent, but reports that the club are not considering bringing back the legendary Spaniard.

The report further claims that club management have serious doubts about the 38-year-old's current fitness as he has not played a professional game since leaving Sevilla at the end of the 2023-24 season. As a result, the Spanish champions see this move as 'impossible' and will wait for January to make a new signing instead of bringing in a free agent at the moment.
